Ages 13–19
Somewhere to be honest
Teens don't need another adult with a speech ready. They need one who listens longer than expected and doesn't flinch at the truth.
What teenagers bring
The things that are hard to say out loud
Pressure
School, sport, expectations, and the exhaustion of always performing.
Identity
Who am I, really — and is that okay with God?
Anxiety and low seasons
Weeks that feel heavy and unexplainable.
Faith questions
Doubt that feels unwelcome anywhere else.
Friendship and dating
Loyalty, loneliness, boundaries, and being used.
Family conflict
Living inside tension you didn't create.
Our promise to teenagers
No lectures. No reporting back on everything.
What you say stays between us, with two exceptions we tell you on day one: if you're in danger, or someone else is. Parents get a general update, not a transcript.
You set the pace
Talk, sit quietly, walk while we talk. Nothing is forced.
Faith without pressure
Bring your doubt. It's welcome here, and it won't get you a sermon.
What pastoral care is. KNOWN. offers biblical pastoral care. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or licensed counseling, and it does not diagnose. Pastoral care can work alongside licensed counselors, physicians, schools, and other professionals when additional support is appropriate.
Book a first conversation
Parents can start this, or a teen can. Either way, the first call is free.
